Happy Holidays
Happy Holidays everyone. I hope you get time to relax, enjoy family, and catch your breath before starting up again next year.
We launched A2Badvisors after selling Entrada in 2018 and have grown steadily ever since. Our growth has been primarily by referrals from you. I am grateful to all of you for your willingness to engage, for the introductions you make, and for reading and sharing this newsletter.
In 2022, we will be expanding with the launch of a new service. I look forward to telling you about that.
As you set your plans for next year, I want to leave you with some nuggets to consider:
A significant portion of human behavior is designed to avoid discomfort. We do this by practicing distraction. Choosing easy and quick tasks before more meaningful projects. Avoiding big decisions. Putting off an important change we need to make. Good luck having the courage to deal with key challenges early next year. Remember, the opposite of distraction is not focus; it is traction.
We can make significant progress dealing with our general anxiety when we put an anchor to it. Once we identify a root source of stress, we can achieve substantial progress moving forward.
Finally, an excellent way to serve others is to notice the items they repeatedly worry about or discuss. Focus on that to help them.
